E60 SMG HELP
I was hoping some of yo guys might be able to help a buddy of mine....He's got an E60 M5 with the SMG and he loves to beat on it....so much so that the flywheel is toast. Do any of you know of a better more durable, aftermarket, flywheel and clutch pak ? Sachs maybe ? Thanks in advance....

Actually, yeah...he said his dealer was going to warranty the work (he replaced his tires before taking the car to the dealer - they were toast - cording). I told him to let the dealer do it and preserve the warranty but he wants something "stronger"....This guy literally does burnouts every chance he gets....I was amazed the dealer is going to warranty it...

Besides, don't know of anyone making aftermarket clutch/flywheels for the E60. Would imagine the market is too small for a part covered under BMW.

I agree with bonehead.... Have the dealer pay for the clutch if they are willing. It will save him extra $$$$ when the dealer warenty expires.
Let me know who this guy is so I know not to buy his M5 when he is willing to sell.

Thanks guys - I would go over to the BMW forum but it's too much effort for this guy and I'd prefer not to get flamed considering the recent BMW guys over on the Black Series forum...
I agree with having the dealer do the work - no brainer...thx again.
I believe it's a lease but I'll give you a hint....he's on Entourage
