SPY PHOTOS: AMG PACKS 500+ HORSEPOWER INTO NEXT MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS

The 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class, expected to debut at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, will likely use S-Class styling cues, including a more sculpted wide-frame grille and wedge-shaped profile, according to automotive spy photographer Brenda Priddy. Internally named "W212," the E-Class will get the usual V6/V8 options, along with a naturally aspirated 6.3L, 500-plus horsepower V8 mill in the E63 AMG variant pictured here.
Priddy says that driver assistance appears to be a major theme for W212, with lane-departure warnings, eye-movement monitor, road-condition sensors and stability control to account for crosswinds, camber changes and tire wear among the anticipated features.

I think I need to ask around and see if these guys are still out in death valley and go take a peak. I know where they all stay out there so I might have to make a drive out and bake in the heat to sneak a peak at the current fleet of test vehicles.
I think the new W212 will look great. Though the W211 is aging with absolute grace. Still looks modern in a world of more recently developed car.

It looks like they won't introduce the twin turbo setup in the new W212
...... this is bad news for us guys ![Frown](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
If they're not going with twin turbo setup, I'm keeping my E63 for a few more years until they do. They'll probably introduce it with the face-lift a couple of years down the road (2012).

I am sure the W212 will get a TT motor after 2 years of production. I say expect it as 2011 model to be released in later 2010, which is in line with what was announced last week.
