Bought an MBUSA Extended Warranty
I bit the bullet and bought the extended MBUSA Warranty for $3,600+. It covers for 7 years and 75,000 from in-service date. Because I only have 15,400 miles, it is like buying a 3 year, 60k mile warranty.
I looked at the AAA warranty for $2,400 and the DiamlerChrysler warranty for $1,800 and decided that the peace of mind was worth the cost. Plus, if I trade the car in, I can get a pro-rated refund.
The car is still for sale, and now it comes with a fully transferrable MBUSA warranty.

What didn't you like about the DiamlerChrysler warranty? I have seen only positive comments about their packages and was planning to sign up with them. Am I missing something?
PS- Glad to see you keeping the E!!

Chrysler Warranty
I just bought the Chrysler 5/50k package. Covers me till 2013 and 92k mi for $2400 and i had ran out of the original warranty last december. Althought i think if you're within warranty and original owner, the MB package is the best.

I chose against the DC warranty because I could not get either of the two S.A.'s I spoke with to confirm that I wouldn't come out of pocket for "warranty" repairs. I don't want to drop the car off and either pay $2,500 for a repair and have to then claim against D.C to get all of that back, or be told by the dealer that the DC warranty only covers $1,800 of that repair.
With the MBUSA warranty, there is no question that I can drop it off at the dealer and pick it up without paying a cent.
Plus, I was getting these PITA recorded telephone calls to my office "warning" me that my warranty was going to expire. I can't confirm that it was DC, but I don't remember giving any other warranty company my office telephone number. That turned me off big time. I am responsible enough to know that my warranty is running out. I don't need a machine to remind me. Sometimes, the little things **** me off the most.

I haven't heard that before. I know there is a $100 deductable, with that exception of out of pocket cost it is a Daimler warranty and i don't see why they would give you such a hard time?
