CAr pulls hard to the right...

I believe this happened since I lowered the car with the adjustable links. The car pulls hard to the right when I let go of the steering wheel. Despite my best effort and belief that I set the adjustable links to identical size for both the right and left fronts, it seems logical that the right must be lower, hence causing it to pull.

Any other possibilities?

I have TWS adjustable links on the front of my car for more than 3yrs, when they were first put on the right side was a little lower, I adjusted the left side one turn and made it even. But at no time did it ever pull to one side or the other.

Hmmm... I'm just hoping I dont have anything that's broken from being lowered. I did have the car even lower before, but that was in the rear only. I don't really recall any issue then... I'll have to take a look and see what could be the issue.

did you get it aligned afterwards? I didnt do mine after the ELM, and it ate my tires within a few months.

on a side note. I just installed new tires on my QX56, and it pulls to the right when I let go. Never did it before. I got it aligned, and it still does it, so I just assume its the tire.

Not just the tire, but the alignment specs as well. If youleave the front end fairlyneutral, it will tend to follow the grooves in the road. Since most roads are back cambered to drain water, your car pulls that way. Also, if younoted almost all production cars(including allbenzes) pull to the right from the factory. I ALWAYS get an alignment first.

Godfather,

I assume you got the rear sub-frame thing fixed already, yes? If not, that'll make the car pull to the right also... But that was a while back, I'm sure that was taken care of already.

Just a thought,

Skeeter

huh? What's the rear sub frame thing? I think you are confusing me with someone else...

I did get the alignment done, although they couldn't do the rear b/c it was involving removing the exhaust to get to the bolts, so I didn't bother to get it done. Maybe I should stop by again and have them look at it once more.

did you put air in your tires at the same time? if you put too much in once side it will pull to one side.

did this to my s2000 a couple days ago, the gauge on the air hose broke so i was guessing at what psi was in the tires.

I have TPMS and my pressure is identical all around, give or take 1 psi.
