That's the second time you've called me cute. I'm actually more striking than cute, but thanks.

Your consistently incorrect info does the new members a disservice - if you can't deal with correction, sit on your typing hand.

Weaksauce.

Your car runs like crap, and you talk like you own the strip, dyno, street, etc.

Come to MIR, or simply create more Z06 fairy-tales. You count about as much as one of my farts with the ventilated seats on.

I don't care if you are correcting me. Why be hostile about it?

I still don't get how that is a hit to LET. I was simply trying to tell the OP that there were two basic ways to limit the engine One is to control the number of revs and one is to literally set a speed. How is that a slight?

Oh, OK I talk like I own the track when its you guys putting all these ignorant claims in your sigs?

Well, that was a funny Yellow "ghost" in the video, plus the slips, PLUS the 10 or so members from here as witnesses. You can't take it? Tough. It is just a 1/4 mile strip. Why is it so important to you?

You count about as much as one of my farts with the ventilated seats on.
That's the pompousness i was looking for. Let me guess.....WASP? Attend meeting regularly?

As far as branded goes, check out the website: www.letmotorsports.com

You'll see a whole series of products designed, tested, and fabricated by LET.

-Intakes

-Pulleys

-Custom Plug Wires

-Heat Exchangers

And don't forget, custom in-house tuning. Dyno-tested and track approved.

1) #2, 3, and 4 fastest C32s

2) Fastest street-tire E55

3) I believe the fastest non- N20 SRT-6

Anything else I can correct you on, or is school over?

You are right on me stooping, but out of your mind on the uncalled part. I'm sick and tired of being the bashing point for you guys just because you think I am a VRP insider. Fact is, Victor an my relationship has grown more and more distant since VRP started. I don't care what LET does or if it is good. You guys got beef, man up and send it in the right dirrection. i didn't screw with anybody so get off my back.

Just to get back on tract here.. My stock tranny/ tune shifts about 6200 on the 1-2 and RPM drops to about 4700ish on that shift.. So, 400 RPM higher shift on the 1-2 would tickle me CUTE

My 2-3 shift is higher ,,, around 6400 or so.. Hard to data log the exact rpm,,as the update rate is to damn slow on ATAP.. Had to use tack and atap to confirm.

With a loose converter, you could stay above 5800 all the way through but not stock unless the tranny is slipping.

So what is the RPM drop on a WOT 1-2 shift LET tune and or VRP tune? A tune a regular guy like me could order?

I'll go do a run today and tell you when the VRP one shifts and where it drops to on each one. maybe others can do it for other tuners and maybe a stock one, too for reference.

The RPM drop is the same, due to gearing. It just gets moved up from about 4700-4800 to about 5000-5100.

Arjang, remember that you need to datalog the shift points to be correct. The tach is not accurate.....but you already knew that.

Yes i do. i was just going to do it for guesstimation. The shift points were for mostly non-WOT and kick down conditions.

With a variance of several hundred RPMs, do you not see that exercise as useless?

Not at all . it gets me out of the house. Is the tach really that far off? I was actually going to see if there was any way i could get you to eat some shorts for this comment " Try driving your car again, report back. If you fall to 5800 after the shift, I'll eat my shorts. " It made me curious where it does drop to.

I challenged you????? Holy snot burgers. This thread has lead to so much discussion between the OP and myself that I have learned a LOAD. Why would I turn this thread negative? You straight cam in here and misunderstood what I said and assumed it was an attack or misinfo. Now, it turns out it wasn't and you still want to dig?

I havent said anything to you or about you in a while, now youre trying to drag me back into this? VRP insider? I have no clue what youre talking about. You really do have some issues pal. You are the one out of your mind stooping to religous and racial slurs over a car argument. I wont stoop to your level to argue with you, enjoy being the whipping pole, you sure do ask for it.
