Took an E60 M5 today
Went from a stoplight up until ~75mph and I had him by a car length until I had to hit the brakes for a slow moving truck
It was my first quality race with something other than mustangs, s4s, rex's, etc so it felt pretty good

AMG E55, Stage 1, Strait Pipe from Primary Cats
Most people are not crazy enough to race someone on a twistie road or at high speeds imo. The only time I ever mess around is at stoplight quick drags and it the safest imo, so having a car that is a great drag car is the best thing to have on the streets period. People always enjoy my tailights

I lost to M5 from stoplight.
My excuses are I had one passenger and also I did not know drive my car properly. Basically I gave him one car length from the beginning.
I have not had any runs with M5 since. I hope to run with M5 soon.

Early this last spring at MIR I was comparing my times from a dig to a new M5 that was there and I was .5 sec faster in the 1/4 all day long up to 114 atleast.
Who cares about anything beyond that!

I think they will. The ads on e-bay say they'll fit C, CL, E, S, SLK classes but what they forget to mention is that the 18" won't fit E55/E63s. I think you'd be okay
