As I stated earlier I think the weather had the most to do with it. The tires were hurting me. I could not launch any higher RPM than on my Corsas because the car would not hold at the line. I would brake torque it and it would just push the car over the line even with my foot mashed into the pedal as hard as I could. I tried pumping the brakes, nothing would help. I am going to experiment with some higher air pressure in the MT's on Saturday. I need to be able to get the RPM's up to keep the motor reving. There is a lot left on the table. I feel there is another 1/10th-2/10th to be had without the bottle just by improving the launch. They claim a 1/10th in your 60' equated to .250 at the other end so if I can get to a 1.700 that should be good for at least .150 at the other end, right?

I looked up the weather conditions at weather.com last night in Joliet and plugged it into a sea-level calculator. It comes out to 11.32 @123.14. The DA was 1324ft last night in those conditions.

Congrats jrcart! 11.4 on the motor is very quick. How much does your car dyno? Wow that is impressive!

2nd. Was that video a textbook lesson in gearing Jim or did the stang have trouble? Seemed like it (stang) had gears to get it out of the hole, then fell on it's face last half of the track.
You suuuurrreee you didn't tap the button last half of the track??
+1 on the sound. Makes me want a 6.3.

I was just basing it on the video I saw. The mustang looked quicker out the hole and looked like was ahead before he misshifted or whatever it is he did. The brake lights came on. Guess I was wrong. Your car is shockingly fast for being NA

Not positive but didn't Daves'(ENDSMTG) car go faster then that with Wayne(ChicagoX) driving on DRs especially when they took out the stock C6 ZO6 at US41 in 2007? His car is a stage 2 E55
