Engine code?
I'm trying to figure out what my engine code is, is it 112 or 113? Also how do i nail down the rest of the #? Example "112.912" Is it stamped on the engine somewhere or?

Tell us exactly what car you are talking about, and we can tell you. If it is the E55, it is a 113.98something. In fact, if you called your "friendly" MB dealer, they can get you your entire engine serial number. Or, PM me with your VIN.

I have a little card that has all of my build specs on it. I assume you can get one from MB or your service? Also, there is the russian website that does that. you plug in your VIN and it spits back your stuff. i was scared to do it with my car, but I tried my old '05 E55 and it worked.
