Lowering VIA star
If I lower my car VIA star will the car still lower further down when I put it in sport suspension 1&2. For instance I would like the car to sit out it sits when in sport 2 all the time and I want to be able to lower it further but putting on sport suspension. Will this work?

Technically speaking...Sport 2 is the lowest setting the car will go unless you have an ELM. I am lowered on star and yes there is a difference between comfort, sport 1 and sport 2 if that is what you're asking? But if you are in sport 2 and you like it...it will not go down any further because sport 2, is the lowest setting...
My 2 cents...

BenzoBoi, if you don't mind my asking, how much did your Star lowering cost and how long did it take? Further, how much, if at all, did it compromise ride comfort for you? Thanks!

My car is lowered via star. Some of these pics were done on normal and some on sport2. Not sure I can see a difference.

The answer is yes, absolutely. Yes yes and yes again.
About STAR: Cost is whatever the tech charges as there are no parts. it takes anywhere from 20 minutes to 4 hours, depending on whom is doing the work, how familiar they are with your chassis, and what stance you are after. I would say that a STAR drop should be in the $200 range.
As the car is lowered, you will have two main issues come up. One will be the ride quality as the amount of shock travel is minimized and the second will be getting excessive negative camber. It all depends on where your happy zone is. I would recommend about 0.75 inches all around, maybe just a hair more in the front to add a bit of rake.

Just to throw out some correct info here, for a stock car, SPORT1 drops the car 10mm. Sport 2 drops is an additional 10mm.
Now for the question. If you do lower it by STAR by about .75", can an alignment be done on those specs to fix the negative camber?

A drop of about 0.75" isn't too much and yes you can use the MB crash bolts to get to within reasonable negative cambers. That is basically the same as running the RennTech V1 ELM at 50% drop. I'm taking mine a step further and having the arms bent to be in their sweet spot at the 50% drop.
