Yes, they are right 62872 aka MBUSA is the code

 

On all the systems that use bluetooth "pucks", the code is 62872.

On all the newer systems, you can pick your own code.

I JUST UPGRADED TO A IPHONE 4G AND I USED THE LAST 4 OF MY PHONE FOR THE CAR AND THE PHONE TO PAIR. IT DID NOT GIVE ME A CODE.

 

I've read your post 5 times & i think i'm answering what you are asking.

If you're wondering what the code is for your bluetooth, it's whatever you want it to be.

Try 1111 or 0000. As long as you use the same code for the car and the phone, it will work.

If you decide to hook up an additional phone, you can use the same code OR any other code you think of at the time. It couldn't be more simple on the new cars.

 

Yeah Bluetooth pair of devices is totally different in Coamnd 2.0 and 2.5 NTG.

I just received in the mail today a replacement B6 788 0001 piece for my 07 CLS550 as it will not pair up to the old puck....(of which I now have three).....
Headed out to the car now to see if it will pair up to my iPhone 8.....
If not it, and the others will be listed here shortly while I go out for a new and more modern head unit.
