JANGY Lost His Sticky, Now He's Getting Bored and Delusional
Any interest earned (not much) will go the winner.
Two men enter, one man leaves. J vs. J and may the best J win.

Id really like to be there for this one
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
However, Jim's car is becoming increasingly strong, and keeps on getting quicker and faster, and soon will be in the low 11s range WITHOUT nos. If MHP's TCU really works and unlocks the torque limits, then Jcart's car should easily be in the 11.20 range with a good launch.

Plus we dont see hardly, if any, 55 owners pressing the issue against BS 63's. Its always against the 211's
DO NOT TAKE MY POST AS FLAME BAIT, IT'S JUST DISCUSSION.
While I give full credit to Jim's car for being fast, where Jim deserves the most credit is putting the right mods together to make his car ET well and not just trap well. Truth is though, he traps between ~118 and ~121mph, and that's just not a speed outside the realm of a good headers/cooling/ecu/pulley/intake'd 55, on an equivalent tire. Now, I understand the DA for the day Jim made his passes was pretty poor, but truth be told we have DA like that here in Chicago most of the summer.
For reference, I did a 12.1 @ 118mph with my current '05, bone stock, on a day that would not have had a good DA. I will note that my '05 is one of the strongest stock cars I've seen, so I am NOT the norm. CPT has dyno'd over a dozen stock 55 cars and no one has beaten me. Adding 3mph is not unreasonable with the mods mentioned above, which I will have done hopefully soon. I'm NOT challenging Jim to a race, and I'm NOT saying the 55s are better/whatever. I'm just SAYING that Jim did a good job of getting a fast setup to hook well and it's translated to a car that does very well on the drag strip.
Jangy may very well be able to keep up with Jim's car in terms of power, but to beat him he's also going to have to put down a good launch, something that looks like Jim's got down pat. This is also assuming that Jangy's car is running right, cause god only knows that there seems to be as many 55s out there not running right as there are ones running right.
Good luck to both of you, I will say I think $10k is really silly, regardless of how deep your pockets are. You guys should take it down to $5k and donate the rest to some worthy cause, maybe to the charity of the other guy's choice. This is just a drag race, and even if one guy wins, it's not like he's not gonna be a lot faster in 6 months. We've got S600s running 10.30s for christ's sake.
Just my $.02

As for the donating to a charity part, I'm going to donate most of the money to Single Moms while I'm in Vegas, there are several locations in Vegas where I can make these donations, Sapphires, Spearmint Rhino, Seamless, Club Paradise, Scores and many more...now who says I'm not a nice guy
I just need to check with my accountant to see if I can write off those kinds of charitable donations
I like the way you think

It maybe worth the trip to come out there just to party with you afterwards
