Correction, ChicagoX was one of the very first people to contact me regarding a TCU tune. A few days later I found out he was connected with LET (again, not here to educate the competition) and asked him about it. He replied yes and I never heard from him again (email wise) now he just tries to pry info out of me on the boards--hence the reasoning for me to not answer any of his questions. I have the emails and can C&P or fwd them to others to verify if necessary.
If ChicagoX really wants to find out why we say PC tunes are archaic he's more than welcome to come to MIR or Columbus (3-4 weeks) for a track rental race where he can line up and see first hand the reality of the situation.
Again Roman I never attacked you or anyone that didn't come at me first, and I'm really beginning to believe (based on your post count and your constant spin of all my statements) that you are a competitor and/or are linked to a competing business.
Mods, can we get an IP check please?
Thanks

I contacted you about your TCU tuning - you asked about my affiliation with LET, and YOU never replied back.
The only way to get you to reply was on the thread. I'm still waiting on a reply to my E-mail.
I will be at MIR. I'm really curious if you will have the stones to climb up on a stepladder and talk like that to my face. Good luck with your business.

Top speed with stock gearing and rear wing (and assuming it doesn't flip to that point) is 200mph. The published 0-200kmh (124mph) is 9.9 sec... so it should be a mid 10 sec car in the 1/4 mile (not exactly its forte').

Well, I've got it easily beat on the top speed but can't touch a mid 10 1/4 mile (yet).

Andy, I think I was one of the first guys from this board to talk to you on the phone. I warned you about most peoples stance and attitudes. I told you that the only way to gain cred is for your work and product to back up your words. I also warned you that they will not believe anything you post if it goes against what the masses believe, trust me on this one, there are still people that question my car even with dyno sheets and time slips, video proof and dozens of people who witnessed it.
In reading all of the many posts on this thread I can see where people on both sides of the coin are coming from. Do yourself a favor, either post some dyno charts or just ignore these guys until you do, don't keep firing back. Your dyno tunning day sounds like a great idea, and the fact that you will be willing to offer a full money back refund if not completely satisfied should put some peoples mind and fears at ease.
I am anxiously awaiting being able to re-install my MHP updated ECU and see how much it gives my car.
For the record everyone, I have not shipped my ECU to Andy yet. I thought I shipped it but Fed Ex returned it to me and it has been sitting in a box on my desk for a week.

I'm sorry but to put it as politely as possible, I don't think you have a clue about what you are talking about. I had a dealer installed Renntech ecu tune and exhaust and pulley on my CLS55, the motor blew with under 10,000 miles. THere was clearly a defective piston in the car that would have failed even under a bone stock tune, it was just my bad luck. Do you want to take a guess at who covered the repairs? Not Mercedes, not Renntech, it was me that had to pay to have my engine rebuilt from the bottom up. My car was classified Status 8 and I was out $$,$$$. For you to even hint at the idea that Renntech stands behind their product in this manner is just plain ol' silly. If it were as easy as you are claiming don't you think we would all be doing it?

Ummm uhhh hmmmm mmmmm well I did not ask if you knew who I was, and I was not quoting you either when I posted that so take a second look.
But yes, it is a challenge. The goal is to see if your German magicians at AMG could be outdone by the Americans from Tuning Technology & MHP.
See you in Ohio!

Also, as more and more manufacturers move to higher tech processors (ala BMW in '09) fewer and fewer people will be able to tune said vehicles. We don't have that problem, in fact we can tune them right now.

We look forward to some friendly competition from all involved, after all, I think we're all here for the same reason...I think anyway lol.

I'm not here to post free info mikey. At some point we realize that others (including competing tuners) will get their hands on our tunes (not that they can replicate them at this point but we have to plan for the future), but at the same time I'm not going to do anything to speed the process up.

seriously andy, i'm not nor have i ever asked for proprietary info. i just asked to see the timing advance compared to throttle position. that's one of the few places you'll find any hidden hp in the ecu and i'd like to determine if it's safe enough for me to consider if the time comes and it performs like you're claiming.
