Update: MHP ECU/TCU Tuning (Throttle Blipping, etc, DONE!)
I arrived at Norwalk at 5:20PM and decided to jump in the staging lanes immediately to see how the car would do with v2 tuning fresh off a 2hr+ drive to the track. I switched to MT 265/18 DRs from the 285/18 Nitto DRs this past week in an effort to gain a better launch. Man do they bite, lol, the downside is they walk a bit up top (not as bad as a true slick but definitely a different world from the Nittos). I hit 3500 miles on the way to the track today. Car was left in sport/auto shift mode the entire time.
First run: Zero cooldown, fresh off the drive in. As you would find the car on the street any day of the week.

Even though we didn't run an actual 11, overall we're still very pleased with the results. Trapping over 118.7 actual/119.3 corrected is no small feat on a sticky MT DR in a 4150lb car, the ETs weren't bad either.

I'm guessing (I'll hit the dyno Monday) that we picked up 12rw+ (conservative guess) over v1, with firmer (still MB like) shifts and the stock shift points (for those worried about excessive rpm/driveline wear).
I'll post timeslips when I get home tomorrow afternoon, there was a friend on hand to shoot a video (of my last run) but somehow he only ended up with my car up to the burnout box.
At least there were 400+ witnesses on hand to verify lol.Slips:

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
quite a battle going on between
MHP
MKB
Kleeman
RennTech
Neat
11.48@121.58 is the same car that ran 11.83 w/o the custom headers
Seems its MKB and MHP with RennTech breathing down the neck
I suppose there is room to question what tunes, what mods etc... I do not think anybody questioned the MKB car that ran the 11.48. Whether Andy stole the tune or was a victim is not my call to make. I just process data and I believe the times absolutely probable based on weight and power.
I know Andy was banned from here , I know pieces of the story it does not effect my ability to determine what is possible and not. An ECU tune in the C63 is worth alot more than it is on the E, dyno's prove it and the track times prove it.
Here is a video of the back up 11.49 run. I can't find the 11.48 video but I have the time slips. It was done the same day just a few hours apart.
I have three separate ECU's so none of the tuners have had access to each others tunes. I send them a stock ECU and they send me their best tune.
The car had the MKB shorty headers with the MHP V2 ECU/TCU tune that day.

Yeah thats all Im saying, the guy tuned a C63 and got it sub 11.5, thats amazing considering nobody in an E63 has been close.
Rick I thought you were using RennTech???
Also Rick update dragtimes or send me your fastest slip, post it dam your draggingthe 63 down keeping yer old tmes up!! Dragtimes still shows ASR 360 as the fastest CLS we all know that aint true

definitely wish you good luck with you car though!
definitely wish you good luck with you car though!
No other platform has seen any good from E55/63 to CL65 non with good results, clk 63 blk Debatable also
Factoring in the endless ranting and pages of nothing but insults and fighting…
I have to strongly agree with Chiro
definitely wish you good luck with you car though!
We all tend to F up once in a while and I have had people slander me on forums. If he is coming back with some powerful cars, more power to him. I just wouldn't put any of there stuff on my ride...

anyways, i know that andy was soley responsible for his own demise so there's no need for me to pat myself on the back. just merely pointing out to a new member that i'm fully aware of the situation and don't need to do a search on the subject.
Give it a rest already. Everyone else seems to have let it go, perhaps you should do the same.

Post 1145 by Chiromikey didn't show he was having trouble letting things go...he didn't mention you or even say anything like "a lot of people followed Andy blindly" which would be accurate...quit the attacks and practice what you preach...sheesh
-Rob

I didn't "attack" anyone - I simply made an observation about the fact that Mikey still holds a grudge, uses any chance he can get to bash... and I think we've all heard enough. He has made his thoughts and opinion of Andy/MHP very well know - personally I'm sick of hearing about it and sick of him patting himself on the back for somehow exposing MHP.
Especially considering the fact that Mikey had many private messages with Andy in the beginning expressing interest in his product but then lashed out at him becasue Andy wouldn't give him a better deal on a tune. Post #445 from this thread - a direct response by Mikey to Andy:
If you think I'm out of line, then you clearly missed Mikeys last go round with Andy just a week or so ago:

Yeah, you're right Rob....he doesn't have a problem letting go.
