Supercharger/clutch engagement question...
05 E55 Wagon. Is it me, or should the supercharger clutch engage a bit more smoothly? I've only owned a couple of these things, and I can't remember if the other was this pronounced. She is going in for a couple of small warranty items tomorrow, is there something particular I can mention to the SA? I do want to make sure the idler puly and belt tensioner are all good, anything else? Is there a bulletin or anything I should point them to? I just want to make sure everything is just right before I hand it to anyone else. Thanks in advance.

If the upgraded supercharger clutch pack has not been done, make sure to have them do that. It is a known TSB and doing a search here should give you what you need.

which piece where? And does anyone know the number or description of the TSB? I can't find it...Thanks. What sort of complaint do I need to give to get the updated one?
