Got walked by a Carrera GT
as expected, but still an awesome race. He was running around my buddy's neighborhood just taunting me, so I decided to give him an easy kill. We merge onto the highway (in Mexico, of course) and he pulled me all the way up till 140-150.
That car is insane and is by far the best sounding engine I've ever heard. I've never actually seen one being driven on the road let alone by a spirited driver.
I'll gladly put the GT in the loss column.

I've actually ben waiting for these to come down in price....Looking at one to buy right now with 7500 miles for $180k....amazing deal for that much car, IMO. And you are right, one of the best sounding motors ever made for a street car.

That car for $180k is nonexistent, unless it has a salvage title or something. Even the crappiest CGT's with three or four times the mileage you listed are still going for $300k+. And even that price is just a function of the current dismal economy...a year ago, that was a $500k car.

I can't believe that you said that! The best sounding engine out there is the Zonda F powered by AMG and I'm not being bias. Well maybe just a tad!

That's it. Waiting on title information, etc from the seller now. He previously had it listed @ $200k and dropped it $10k last week. Buddy of mine (broker) knows the seller and is working a deal now. I'll keep you guys posted but you all know how the saying goes about being too good to be true....
