Doesn't it depend on size needed?

Yeah, Gates has been making belts, like, forever. Not sure they'd be any better than the factory belt though. You might also look into Roulands.

I have the Jag belt and it is nothing special. It is just bigger. Actually, I am about to research and find a slightly smaller one. The Green is cute, but all belts slip. They are supposed to. It just means you are being jerky with the throttle

Jag belt is for guys with larger crank pulleys if I am not mistaken.

Gates makes great belts for stockers and larger pulley guys too.

I never liked Dayco and believe me...been through a LOT of belts.

Going from a 165mm to a 178mm crank pulley means the OEM pulley does not stretch. The Jag is larger in diameter. It is also green, maybe that helps.

I used the Gates too..

there is a HD version.. but they look exactly the same.

by the way.. if you feel lots of jerking..I would check the position of the belt and re-install..

for some reason or another.. did a reinstall the other day and less jerk.
