Car dies out after a few runs

Wsup guys Latley ive been noticing that when I do a few runs with my car, the SC dies, and it seem like the theres no power going into it...A freind told me to swap my pump for the JOHNSON pump, and he said it would make a big diffrence in the way the car runs also... Do you guys have expieriance with it? do you notice somthing when you swap for the johnson pump? drive? better power?.....Is this a mod worth doing?

Hell ya...until there is I/C with a larger core the only thing to help with the heat soak is upgraded Johnson pump and larger and more efficient heat exchanger. I think VRP has the upgraded kit that includes both...

It's not "better power" but the ability to run WOT longer...

It sounds like money well spent if you do the MOD...I was thinking of going to the dealer and try to get it swapped under warrant, but for the money, I think a bigger pump will make the fun last a little longer

Once you know how it looks and you find out how easy it is to do.. you won't have to pay to have it done at the dealer. Any mechanic you know can do it or any mechanic around your place.

+1...Is MB even covering these things under warranty these days? I've heard it both ways...If they do c_ckblock you on the warranty coverage, don't let them do it and find an independent ASE MB shop. MB will rape you on the labor...that's one thing I know.

very simple...

just buy a data logger

search "carchip" a little blue gadget that takes your IAT temps.

if you see your IAT's at 180F above.. you have a problem.

is johnson CM030 an older model?

...can anybody confirm if this is the CM030 or the CM30

I was but trying to, but everybody was asking for crazy amounts of money to take the car, I was happier keeping it then get a new a$$ torn...

I was just at the dealer ship, their going to swap out my pump, but I still want a new 1, their also going to replace my pulley tensioner(IS THAT A GOOD THING)
