Total props guys - awesome run. Nothing speaks louder than results, something this forum has been short of for some time. Really impressed.

Pretty sure that's accurate. Although Derrick (DJE55) probably should take over my screen name for pulling a 1.61 60' on street tires Even in his video on dragtimes (which is not his best run), he pulls a 1.66 with a dead hook (after a 10 second burnout) and ran what appears to be a 11.395 @ 123.31. Amazing times for a car putting down similar power numbers as my stage 1. Anyone know if he is still around/runs his car/etc.?

Been a DJE55 worshipper for years now.
That "run of life" was on Toyo888's thus the long burn to get um hot. Wild part is they were AT 38PSI!!! Wild that guys are spending literally a couple grand on the M/T's and special rims. DJset the record with road race tires and Trac did it with BF DR's.

I've always been partial to the BFG Drags (on previous cars as well as this one), but they are terrible as a daily driver, especially in the rain

search for secondary air injection pump recall/reflash or any combo of those words and you'll have enough reading to put you to sleep for the next year. basically, in '06 mb issued a bogus recall for a smog pump then reflashed everyone's ecu's with software that limited tq output in 1st and 2nd gear. as a nice bonus, many cars (mostly 03's & 04's) lost 50-80hp with the new software. it was a wonderful time in our little community!

The R888's are supposed to stickier. I have had both on my car. The R888's run wider than the RA1's. I had the same size on my car and when switching to R888's they were rubbing. All I remember about sizing is they are 275's and 18's. I will get all the specs when I go home tonight. Have about 250 miles on them. They were actually decent in the rain too! Wish they fit my car
