VRP Feature in European Car!
Just wanted to share that I saw VRP's little feature in European Car showcasing their VRP70055 and VRP70065 packages. The cooler part of the feature went over the brief history of VRP and how they came about in the MB tuning world. Pretty cool (IMO) to see something that seemed to start out of the forums grow and get into the pages of European Car Ya guys (w211 AMG) should go pick up a copy because you guys helped bring them to those pages

Thanks everyone for the support!! We were very excited about the article and were wondering which issue it was going to pop up in... I havent even gotten the magazine yet so I guess its time to go to the book store.
As for the intercoolers on the 65, we have another customer's car who is a member here who has the latest version of the intercooler setup. We did an ECU tune on his car originally, and then the intercoolers and intake were installed.
He took it to the track for a shakedown run and cracked a 10.80 @ almost 128mph!!!
Lots of 65 development coming and we are hoping to get into the 10.30 - 10.50 range with this car once we retune it for the more efficient coolers.
Also, the car is hitting 23psi and maxing out the MAP sensor @ 5Volts. At this point the idea is to put downpipes on the car and replace the cats, put an electronic clamp on the MAP sensor so it doesnt go out of range, and then do some more runs at the track to fine tune it.
I think we will quickly see some low 10sec runs on this car and hope to put this car in the #1 spot.
Here is a pic of what the production setup will look like as it is installed on the customer's CL65.

Haha, can you teach me how to alter a member's original post? Then I could have the whole forum despising you in no more than two days.
