No but seriously, I dont know. I dont want to speculate and fall short of what I predict. It depends on alot of things... will stuff hold together down the track (especially with the hard launches I'm planning), can I get the 2-3 shift issue resolved in time, am I gonna spray the car? If the car hooks and doesnt break and shifts properly I think the car will be able to keep up with a few of the tuned V12TT's in the 1/4. But if I was to make a prediction I would go with a conservative 11.5 @ 118

We also hit boost cut on that pass at around the 1000' mark, that's why MPH is only 127. The car completely took out throttle as we maxed the MAP sensor at over 22.5 psi. The eighth mile MPH is higher on the "10.13" pass (102.44) than on the 10.97(102.04). I also left much harder on the "10.13" as there was no wheel spin. If you add back .700 to the slip (which equals roughly a 1.600 short time), figure in a few hundredths for the boost cut it comes out to at least a 10.83. In my opinion it is a very likely outcome. You should have seen the reaction from the crowd when that time lit up.
You should have seen our reaction at Morrocco when you posted a 10.9; That track (Morrocco) was slick that day and the heavy rain the night before did NOT help, so the Great Lakes run (which always seems to have better traction than Morrocco IN) could very well have been a low 10 run!! Even George's twin snail Vette was having a hard time with traction and his best run was about a 11.32 at 126.

You want an honest reply? If I dont go quicker than 11.2 and trap higher than 122 I will be pretty disappointed. I would expect to drop 0.2-.3s off from the torque converter alone I would be happy with a sub 11s and 125+ trap but that may be asking for too much. Only one way to find out
Lets not get carried away now. A low 10s pass is a far cry from a 10.97 Not taking anything away from the car, it has more in it but I dont think it would go low 10 in its current state at the same track with same DA

yes and lose 0.1s ... conservative, since sand bagging would be if I was racing for money. I dont want to make a claim and not be able to back it up.

Marko didn't give much credence to the low 10 run, BUT I saw the car run in person at Morrocco and it was quick and fast. In fact, the vid does not tell all because he was spinning quite a bit and even in to the 1-2 upshift, so it stands to reason that a low 10 pass is possible, not necessarily probable. Particularly on the Union Grove WI track where traction is typically pretty good versus Morrocco, I could see a mid to low 10 run at 130 or more. Great runs regardless Marko. Beautiful car too!!

All I can say is I don't think much of the CL version of the 65 motor but MarkoCL65 put it perminently in the deep inner reaches of my brain.
It was amazing to watch it ran very smooth and quiet...any muscle car would be jealous.
Gotta give Marko props for running it hard yet smooth enough to get the 10.97@129
Marko I was truely impressed by your car....

I have been drag racing for a long time. As much as I would like to believe that the car has a low 10 second pass in it as it sits, it just simply isn't true. I need about 100 more RWHP to get sub 10.30's. I think the perfect pass in perfect conditions as the car sits would be a 10.6X, and maybe, just maybe a high 10.5X. That's it. Not saying that I won't get it close to single digits, I'm just saying it is not close to that yet.

Lol! We can find a V12TT engine/trans, thats just the beginning of the headaches. And to be honest, I have no interest going 9's in a benz, thats just tooo much I'm pretty much done with this car til something breaks, then its bigger and better. Would love to do a full build and GT35R's some day. Money wont allow it right now, other priorities.
