I will post pics on the car and some more specs when I get a chance but I want to gauge the interest on the car. Its a 2005 with 26K miles and has a clean title. The only thing is at the bottom of the title is shows "Possible water damage". What the guy before did was he was upside down in his lease and had no other way out but to what they call "Wet the floor mats" and really what that is is claiming water damage that never happened. So what you end up with is a car that has that on the title but is as new as the day it was born. Blue book on the car is 44,000. Im looking to get 35,500K.
*This car is guaranteed to never have had drop a water even touch the inside of it. Be my guest (take the door panels off, check the wiring, pull the carpet, not a drop of water like I said guaranteed. Feel free to inspect until you cant inspect any more.
Let me know
Thanks
Ill post pics and options asap
and no its not the car in my sig...

Legit cars with those kinda miles are floating at $40k. Blue book means nothing. Look up the current auctions for reality.
A simplle rule. NEVER touch a car with a dirty title unless you are truly getting value. $5k isn't worth a tainted Mercedes.

Doesn't matter if a speck of water never touched the car.....it already has a tainted title.
For $40K you can buy a clean titled E55 w/ the same mileage. If you were asking $20k-25k, that would be a different story.

+100K, and a bag of popcorn. The white cheddar kind.
Dude, are you serious? A tainted title E55 for $35K? Get the f$@! out of here. It's way too many clean E55's out there for the same price, matter of fact.
For a tainted E55 knock that down into the 20's for consideration. I have to give you props for being honest though.

Just to play devils advocate here...what happens if the new buyer wants to sell it in 2-3 years. That dirty title will end up caulk blocking his own sale.
I'd only touch that if I was keeping the car until it drops and the price was a lot less...G/L but you are going to have a hard time with this crowd.

Im just trying to be honest here Ill entertain any offers I could have been a d1ck and just sold it for 40 and dealt with the probs later. Im trying to gauge a price of what its worth. Honestly if your looking for a car to keep for like 4 or more years this car is the same exact car youd receive for 40K but for 5K less. Its an 05 with 26 thousand miles on it. Like I said send me an offer and I wont bite lol. I guess a legit price for this car is around 32,5-33 thats 7500 under the 40 you say these are going for...Like i said this is just a feeler. Thanks for the input guys

MY'05 E55 Amg
there are ways to get a car like that in better condition for maybe 1 grand more.
i bought my 05 white E55 with all options(command nav, dynamic seats etc), 29k miles and CPO for $36k. but obv you gotta look pretty hard.
