*****E55 Track Results @ NED 10/22/2008: ET of 11.377******
Althought the track rental was a bust, STREET night was just as great and a lot cheaper. They did not cancel the street night and all 10 cars had quite a time. My car ran a personal best of 11.377 (driven by my Brother in Law Tom) with a trap of 122. Here are the specs:
RT .349
60' 1.660
1/8 7.310
MPH 95.68
1/4 11.377
MPH 121.99
I have included a video link of the 11.377 pass http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=42hQjJpzsfU
and a picture of the time slip. Albert, you still got me, although my car moved up the ranks to the 2nd fastest E55 ET (all motor-non NOS) time (Sorry Rock and Jay). Finally passed Derrrick/DJ but I got nothing left and there is no way I can improve on this time. The conditions were perfect for racing, temperature, dew point, launch and track conditions. I can't see my car breaking the E55 Motor record unless I get another mod done to the car. Someone else will have to do it (MIR) UNLESS somebody has an ECU/TCU or any other ideas that can help me TAKE DOWN the E55 all motor record of 11.341. Never thought it would be so hard to take this ET down. Two years and not quite there.......ARGHHH......
Good luck to all of you at MIR. I think I am going to pass this year. I can't see MIR conditions any better than what I had tonight for conditions.

OHHH; I love that DA. I thought I was in heaven last week when I raced with a 3500 DA out here in the desert. I managed a PB of 12.35 @112.18 with a 1.81 60' in the Crossfire.

Nice run!! BTW, isn't it really the "no nitrous" record everyone seems to be confusing with the "all-motor". The 55 motors are all forced induction (post 2002)I think there is going to be nothing but confusion in this regard as more 63 cars start running impressive numbers.

Do not give up , you simply need 1/100th in your 60 ft time.
1.66 can go to 1.62 and you stomp on Albert
kidding.

I think the the term was used a little loosely and just became part of the vocab on here. its a big deal to run these times without nitrous.

Damn Roland, that is a great "all motor" run.....so close.....congrats!!!
On the bright side, I'm sure it's easier to live with being number two than number twenty-eight.

Great run, Roland! Sorry I couldn't be there... Josh - I was signed up for the day session which got rained out, but I had a conflict at night.

And, he inches closer....
Don't give up Roland! I have personally run up against your car (several times) and it DEFINITELY has the potential to break the record. Like juicee63 said, just a hair on the 60' will change EVERYTHING. 3/100ths on the 1/4 is nothing for these cars. Lots of variables to consider. No more mods necessary on your car. It has the right trap potential. Just keep at it. Only a few more days/weeks left in the season before the long winter.
BTW, no worries about knocking me down a notch CONGRATS on a spectacular run!! Sorry I couldn't be there to witness it in person.

Not Quite Done YET!!!!!!!!!
Ok......Not giving up yet. Plan on going to the track next Wed. and next Friday with one more modification. It will be kept quite until I see the results. I will be happy to share the results when I break the 11.34 barrier. Thanks for all of the comments but it was Tommy who actually ran it with the launch of 1.66.
And for all you launchers out there. The 1.66 was achieved simply BY MASHING THE PEDAL that's it. Here I am feathering and everything each run: Tom gets up there and mashes and gets a 1.66. Go FIGURE.
Anyways stay tuned as I feel I have some good news next Wed. or Friday.

I know its a bit of "cheating" but.......That passenger seat has got to weigh 80lbs! take that out and your there....and no one will know! then you'll be the ALLLLLLLLLLL MOTOR KING
