the steering wheel was purchased from Sunil at Motorwrks of Houston. It fits the W211 perfectly.

with as much interest in the newer style wheels, you'd think some vendor would figure out a way to make them plug n play for '03-'04 models???

The break is in '05 (mid year to be 100% safe) for direct plug and play of the shift paddles and I would guess the control buss for the steering wheel buttons was around the same time. The 110Motering claim that they had it working in an '03 with no mods is a load of BS.
This is a great wheel and worth the money. The stock E55 wheel as a big steaming POS.
