They are SL65 wheels ( TYPE IV ) and the fitment is perfect. My friend bought a SL65 and got new wheels so i got a sweet deal.
1st set was renntech monos
2nd set was new renntech superlites *loved these but the fitment was too aggressive and they tore my front fenders up
3rd set was HRE 543Rs *in 20'' and they rode like *** but looked great!
4th set was CL63 reps *awesome wheel and wouldnt have changed if i didnt find these.
and you know the 5th

Where did you get your CL63 replicas? I've had replica wheels on my CLK and my old E & they've been ok, other than being kinda heavy. Will these rims hold up to the power of the 55?
BTW, i just bought my 2004 E55 (obs. black) today. It has 27,000kms on it and looks like it has been in a massive Ziploc bag its entire life.

Hey, what size were your CL63 reps?
I was going to pick up a set but they only come in 20x8.5 frong and 20x9.5 rear .... I really want to move towards a wheel that has no lip but still has an aggressive stagger where the rear wheel has a significant dip into the center cap.... was there a diff from front to rear with the CLs?
I have 20x9 front and 20x10 rear Lorinsers on there now and they sit perfectly flush with the wheel wells... looks great but im not a huge fan of the wheels themself.
Do you have any angled side shots of you car with the CL wheels??
