Yeah me too since I only owned a W210 back in 2001 and a W211 E55 in 2004.
Its an enthusiasts' site Jangy where ownership is not a prereq or we would lose some good peeps and maybe some others too![rolf](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rofl.gif)
Oh I guess I would have to go and hang at 6 speed online more often

I wondered that alot everytime I read a MHP thread. All kinds of BS comming from people that dont have E55. But then all you have to do is check the other sections and you will see why they all come here.

In all honesty, I have said this before and I will say it again, the guys that frequent this W211 are by far the most knowledgable, informative and last but not least by far the most entertaining.

Things could be worse though. Imagine being stuck to only posting in the W140 forum.
2 Threads in there total. Notice the one with replys in it. That's just the guy b-itching that noone ever replied to him.![rolf](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rofl.gif)

This entire forum is awesome but arguably and I say this loosely- the W211 E55 forum is the best. As Jim said, great info (look at all the stickys) and great support. For the most part, the arguements are productive in nature and lead to informing and understanding.

Let's just leave it that the cool guys drive AMG W211s, and the others come here to i) be cool by association; ii) actually communicate with the knowledgeable enthusiasts comprising AMG W211 ownership; or (iii) peddle their merchandise (both real and vaporware). Whatever the reason, it's at least entertaining to follow the ebbs, flows, and BS of this forum . . .

Hey, I'm not blind to the truth, the E55 and E63 guys seem to do the most experimenting, modding and the most real world track testing, probably more than all the other AMG guys combined. I would be ignorant not to try to tap some of that knowledge. If you pay attention, you have the fastest SL guys in here the fastest CL guys in here, the fastest CLS and CLK guys. This is the place to be!

I didn't mean you need to own one to be here. I am just saying that it is kind of odd that most of the "worthless" banter lately has been between W211 (past or present) and non. There aren't the usual NITTY GRITTY discussions that we had amongst those that knew the chassis well, per say. I'm not even saying we need to do anything about it, just making a note and trying to keep it out of the threads that make this room / board so great.

Most of our 55 cars share about 80% of the same parts anyway.. Who cares about a few body parts and frame members..

As for the original question, and I don't mean this in an argumentative manner whatsoever, but you have to take into account that the 63s are internally identical regardless of model (from the airboxes to exhaust ports). What works on a E63 will work on other 63s as well, hence the influx of owners of all models.
