A phenolic (wooden) spacer used as a head gasket would make for a novel concept.

I'm not a nitrous guy myself, but you cannot deny it's effectiveness especially when used on a solid N/A platform. These motors take naturally to nitrous and when properly tuned will make incredible power and TQ.

Spraying and boosting a 11.3:1 motor on CA 91 would be like strapping yourself down and flipping the switch.
I agree on both. Getting down to 9s would be a stretch. I also know that some NOS would add instant power. It just isn't what we want. I don't because I do much more than drag race. A bottle that gives straigh line blasts and then runs out isn't a great thing for me.

It's all about the tune, but assuming that's fine based on what the internals look like 200HP+ shouldn't be a problem at all (63s).
