Here is what my friend sent me today that took the other videos."should be sending the vhs to someone tomorrow via usps priority. so maybe by the begining of next week i'll have some pretty sick vids up" I think it's pretty funny when someone breaks new ground that was once thought impossible and people try to pick it apart and discredit it anyway they can. I have heard everything from wasnt good enuf video to tell for sure to I was spraying nitrous that pass!!!!! Plain and simple the car is making awesome power for the mods it has which has taken alot of time and trouble to find the right combination to make it all work. Thats why the one video I posted I kept my "southern accent" girlfriends voice saying the time when it came up on the timing clock!!! I thought this was good enough, but obviously not for some As soon as he gets the vids uploaded or posted I will put them here just like I said I would. I am going back to the track on the 22nd though, so the 11.05 @124.9 shouldnt stand long if everything goes right and we get a little DA love from mother nature
Im not disputing your time...on the contrary...im very impressed. Its a dispute im having with him...not with your time. I have yet to take mine to the track, but cant wait till i do. If I break 120's ill be estatic...u my friend...are on another level!!!!

Rule of thumb is every 100lbs.= tenth of a sec.

I lost 30lbs of body weight since my last run so what does that =

Tuning will definitely do the trick in these cars. Congrats on a great tune and track result!

I completely understand this comment. When I broke the stage 1 record, people couldn't believe that a car with only a pulley and a tune ran 11.41. Not to mention, I had the fastest 1/8 mile ET (at 7.291) for ANY car off nitrous, regardless of mods, before you came along However, as mentioned above, I believe the custom tuning of these cars is the magical ingredient that a lot of people overlook. Looks like you put that together with one helluva built car. Gotta luv those silverbullet 03's!!

Keep up the great driving and don't let the few naysayers get you down (or make you "laugh").

You really think the ice reservoir is worth that much even in cold temps like we are getting now? Mine is still sitiing in the basement

You should get 10's on the 22nd. Good luck

Very impressive pass, 10's are sooooo close!

5/100ths...all you need a an extra 3mph tailwind and you are in the 10's

congratulations on your success so far - your thorough and analytical approach has rewarded you well. I am sure that you have more lurking in that beast of yours. Wishing you well for the 22nd.

for those that are tracking the GTR it just cracked into the 10s the weekend. Modded of course. How does that car do a 0-60 in 3.2 with a 1.8x 60-foot?

yeah that doesn't make much sense. the VRP 675 package matches the power almost exactly and weights...200 more lbs? How does the GTR trap 6 more mph?

I have to study his 1/8 mile & DA more but agree something's NOT adding up especially for an AWD to trap that high, w/AWD they usually run low ET's & lower trap speeds hell they trap 115-117 stock so those mods must be magical Who'd a thought Chrm 22"s

Edit:Hmmm NO actual timeslip, only his dyno & type written info??

I was thinking the same thing. I'm all for giving the other fellow the benefit of the doubt but if the numbers don't quite add up and there's no timeslip....

he would have to trap 129mph to run a 10 second 1/4mile with that crappy 60ft time!!!

my bad someone said something about a 1.8 60' and something about an awd car not trapping very high. he may have meant that one specific but i took it generally. i also put the wrong video in the last post. watch this one but look closely at his 60'. the gtr that is being discussed could possibly be making a boat load of power and once you put it to the ground even with a 1.8 60' you could still have a really good et.

that's was basically my point as well. the mph seems to indicate it would have to be making some serious power on the back end to make up for such a poor launch. imho, it's all meaningless anyways since the poster doesn't even have any proof of the run.

No kidding! I ran a 12.05 @ 115 (1.8x 60ft time) at Speedworld Sunday with DA over 3000ft. I felt pretty good about it until I saw this thread.

I said the AWD comment, & meant w/out gobs of power an AWD car generally traps slower than an equally powered RWD car, perfect example is those big *** 900hp 1000-1200 torque 4x4 Ford/Dodge Turbo Diesel trucks sukka's run krazzee ET's w/low traps

Agreed the lower short time is evident on said trucks ie 1.50's vs the supposed GTR in question
