If you mean everything played out as it should as in our customers setting and breaking records, and a bolt-on tune C63 running 11.59@119.75 then yes, you are correct.
63s in R&D??? LOL, you think the 55s/65s/600s, etc aren't? LOL.
Jangy, you screw up more threads than anyone on this site and are a self professed amateur with nothing of value to add to any discussion that belongs a tech forum.
To the Person in the Safari Gear, Please stay out of this thread
Back on the ignore list...
Thank You

Andy,
I have to ask if you delivered what you promised at MIR? It sounds like your car performed as promised, but all your "customers" cars didn't deliver? Please explain as I'm confused.
Thanks

Andy, I want to only clear up one point and that is in reference to Marko's car. I dont want anyone to misinterpret anything..
Everything on that car is still a VRP part except for the TCU which he was trying out while at MIR.
Marko and I talk almost every day (we are involved in a few projects) and since he is on the road driving back home I will post until he gets an opportunity to. I just spoke with him about an hour ago and he filled me in on everything.
Marko said he did some datalogging with stock TCU and revised TCU that Dave Kasper sent him. Both datalogging sessions show the same timing being run just before and after shifts, both still took 2.5secs to recover from the Torque Management, and both took the same amount of time to shift gears so the TCU in Marko's car is behaving just like stock for now.
I know a properly programmed TCU with torque management removed will help tremendously but right now the TCU is not giving him any benefit. I know that Dave will figure out what is wrong and give him a working unit but right now its not doing what it is supposed to.
If you look at his 2 last runs (Byron's 10.76 vs MIR 10.72) you'll see that he actually went SLOWER @ MIR.
11/1/2008 2:09PM @ Byron Dragway
10.76 @ 129.28mph
DA was +272
Corrected run was 10.784 @ 129mph
11/22/2008 @ MIR
10.72 @ 130.76
DA was -2068
Corrected run was 10.821 @ 129.647mph
Marko was actually a bit bummed about MIR because he was hoping to really break his record but it didnt happen.
Aside from all that, I will say BIG CONGRATS to you because your 11.59 run in the C63 is impressive!!

i don't think he's confused. it's a bit misleading for you to imply that people broke records because of your tune over track conditions. marko's tcu tune didn't even take. if you apply correction factors (like you said several times that you would), it appears that both jrcart's and fr33kn63's cars ran worse than before mhp's work. and now fr33kn63's transmission ironically has problems. make it personal and attack me if you like but i think indyjoe's inquiry isn't that far off base.

Read my initial post as to why jrcart didn't break his own N/A record. His car was making too much power to put down with the Corsa's but not enough to not bog with the ET Streets N/A. Anyone at the event that saw him run will verify that including Jim himself.
Nitrous is DA in a bottle and jrcart broke his own record with our tuning.
JT55broke jrcart's old N/A record with our tuning at his first time to the drag strip with his 1000 mile car. Green motor, hotlapping and still ran 11.46@122+ on a slammed suspension.
Fr33kn63s E63 knocked off .1 and gained 2mph with just our TCU tune and his old Renntech tune. His driveline issues (as he told me on the phone earlier) began before we touched his car.
I don't think I need to say a thing about our C63.
I don't personally attack people, make false claims, or try to backhandedly insult others mikey. Search through your posts and tell me you're not the pot trying to call the kettle black.
Thanks

Jeff will have our ECU/TCU tuning by Wed at latest, he is currently running Renntech's ECU and our TCU tune. Anyone that drives one of our TCU tuned MBs can instantly tell the difference it's night and day. At this point I'm actually glad Jeff didn't have our ECU tuning as well as the increased output would've caused a quicker failure of an already wounded driveline.

I need to get more feedback from Marko before responding. Even though the entire tune obviously wasn't working to it's potential some parts of it should have been present (like increased line pressure). My thunder has already been posted, 16 degrees of advance on 100 octane and no TM reduction in the ECU. ECUs are cake, TCUs are exponentially harder to do.

www.smokemup.com is down and is the most accurate site that I'm aware of for weather correction as it's the NHRA's own.

Go figure it's up again:
The closest weather results for 11/22/2008 at 03:02 pm
Time recorded 2:52 PM
Temperature °F 37.0
Dew Point °F 10.9
Altimeter Setting 30.45 Inches Mercury
Absolute Pressure: 30.37 Inches
Density Altitude: -1955.1 feet
Track Elelvation: 80 feet
UnCorrected ET:
11.595 (sec) @ 119.75 (MPH)
Corrected ET to Sea Level:
11.833 (sec) @ 117.233 (MPH)
Again weird since I trapped 118.18 and 118.78 actual (118.99/119.31 corrected) at 480'+ DA at an elevation of 857' at NRP. Conflicting data FTL.

99% of it was completely baseless and your continued foaming at the mouth makes u look like nothing less than a complete idiot. You have never had anything but negativity to add to any post i've ever seen u make. Whats the matter Mama weened u off the tete's too early bro?
Just what is your malfunction? a bad L3 - L4? A pinched nerve in the neck cuttin off blood flow to the brain ?
Andy has answered and literally shoved his results down all of your collective throats - posted ridiculous numbers on an otherwise stock C63, all the dyno results one could ask for - helped me set the a-hem 63 n/a record on my first time out! and if you would bother to listen to Jim he will tell u how much more responsive and faster his car felt after the MHP tune. You weren't at MIR and quite frankly should keep your pie hole shut cause you had every opport. to come and show us how GREAT ur chiro tuned car is, but you didn't and all you do is keep jabbering.
Talk is cheap bro and right ab now urs is cheaper than GM's stock my friend - give it a rest already - I for one dont want to hear it anymore and im sure im not in the minority. All you West Coast guys the 63 records over here now with Andys tune, Evosports parts and Bruces build come get it or shut the F up.
Next time I get myself a race gas tune some race gas a set of slicks and run low 11's all motor - on my SECOND time to the Drag strip - WHAT???????????
