It looks like an all motor run,plus there was a dip where the a/f went south....so i believe that there is more on the table.

Whats this car got done to it? Looks stock...what a sleeper.

Why is the boost only 11-12 psi? This dude has 150 rwhp more than me! A/F way too low at redline.

Why are they doing the dyno in what seems to be 3 or 4th gear?

I couldn't tell you. I found it on youtube and it seemed fairly new so I thought I would post and ask.

What other gear should they do it in?? 5th to fast for the dyno...2nd goes by too fast to get a clean reading...

I always though you wanted to have 4th or 5th gear...what ever is closest to a 1:1 ratio. On my dyno jet run they took my car up to 189mph.

how would you describe the sound of that exhaust? raspy at high rpms?

is there a way to make it not sound like metallic noise? will an xpipe solve it? resonator?

that's exactly what mine sounds like. anyone know what set up he did?

Boost is a measure of backpressure. He is able to flow much more air than a stock E55. Given this, it would seem he has head work, cams, and exhaust. Increasing the flow of the heads and exhaust decreases boost but will greatly raise hp and lower intake temps.

I want to do a custom exhaust but am afraid of having too little backpressue.

4th gear is 1:1 ratio.

But cars without ECU tunes will hit the speed limiter in 4th which is why a lot of people do 3rd gear pulls.
