I am in love with the SL65 exhaust tips that come on the 2007 and later models. I saw a thread once about doing it but can't find it. Seems like it would require a lot to get it done. Has anyone converted your separated quad tips to the connected SL65 version? Thanks,

Anything can be done, I thought about this a couple of months ago. Try to find a used set of the tips on ebay.

if you are referring to the dual-attached quads, you can get the tips from Eisenhaus for about $600. I wanted to use the OEM AMG dual-attached on my C-class, but you aren't able to order them w/o buying the entire exhaust sections. Eisenhaus offers the same tips (check their website) on some of their exhaust models and after inquing they told me I could buy just the tips w/o their logo on them for $600. Nice project, give it a shot!

I have SL65 tips on my E55 but I purchased the Meistershchaft mufflers. They look really good and are bigger then the ovals that come on 55/63. I have gotten great feedback from people about just the look. I have videos of how it looks and sounds if you want to check it out.

I'm currently on my phone right now but you can either search up my threads or you can go to youtube and type Mvinfiniti and all my vids will show.

I got a way better deal then that with installation. My car is literally night and day difference sound wise and I actually can set car alarms off. I know your looking for the tips but this is what I have and just an idea.

Watched and listened to the vids, thanks. Can't wait for this mod.... The tips on the '09 E63 are "lower" than my '07, such that you can see right up my tailpipe, just doesn't look good at all.

yeah its really pricey, depends on what version you get though, the cheapest ive seen them for is a little under 2k.

Yeah anyone who has heard my car in person and seen the videos have said the video dont do justice to the actual sound of the car. There is a deep drone that some might not like but I personally love hearing. Its def loud and the exhaust note is great. Worth the money to me.
