Nice I see Phil changed your punishment
When did you see the 997TT- local I assume??
I have plans that I cant miss or escape from or for sure I would go up. Mexico is safe, trust me and it will take only 1 hour total to drive, run and go home. Dont worry my old E55 is going and its latest dyno's numbers are very formidable. I expect excellent numbers from all the boys going up from HMS especially Sun and Blue.
I saw the 997TT driving around, I am a big fan of your 19" HRE's. The nice thing about the monobloks is that they don't look small, and actually look large for a 19.
We will have an opportunity to meet up at the next event hopefully.

I also wanted give thanks to James for being the great vendor he is and helping out with all goodies! Also, thanks for bringing down the rotors and helping out
Are you looking for something cheap just for a night or something higher end? Bakersfield actually has a decent selection of places to stay.

I'm sure we can also run the canyons soon too. Even though it looks slow on video, you can see I had no problem hanging with this Lotus Group:

It is kind of cool, drag racing on Saturday and then hitting the canyons the next day. Again if you would like a video of your M3 leaving me through the corners, hit me up! I would be curious as to how much of a beating I would take through the corners anyways.

At least you aren't asking me to pay for your spot anymore

Best of luck at Sacramento, I'm sure you will hit the 11's, and I'll offer up a congrats when you do.

As far as 135i BMWs go. There are way more 335i BMWs that run in the 11's than 135s. I think Terry's is the only one that hit 11's. And FYI, last time we ran the same time at the same track, his trap was only about 1mph faster than my tune only 335i, even with all his extra mods. Many magazines have also shown quicker times for the 335i. And finally, the 135i seems to dyno a little less than the 335i. Probably because it doesn't have a true dual exhaust system like the 335i.

If so i just went the 24 miles through that in my lowered sway bar linked jeep srt8......but i wasn't prepared...i had two friends, a cooler with 6 bags of ice, 5 gallons of race gas and my helmets so everything was flying around...the day got cancelled at fontana so we saw like 10 wrx's headed that way but we filled up first and figured if they stopped first we could catch up but nada....long gone tho

when you going again? i think i can hang!!!

Second of all, on an inline six why would a dual exhaust make more power? A single exhaust is less complicated and lends itself better to tuning with that design.
The 335 didn't get a dual exhaust because of performance, but for aesthetics.
All I know is it is harder to replicate the 200 pound difference of the 135 in the 335 than it is for the 135 to replicate the 335's power.

Ed (blue) has taken it to the next level though. Evosport built my car back when modded E55's werent so popular (2004) and clearly then it was a level above other similar modded E55's. But with what he has done (Ill let him tell you Saturday) I would expect the car to run the best its ever done in times and traps.

This just makes this event that much more exciting
