Yes, I was just looking throught the cd of pix they brought me today and passed it up like three times then I was showing the pix to a friend of mine and he say " wow, 127 mph, cool" I replyed No it's 121, but then I took a real hard look and sure enough the seven has two lights burned out. WTF and NO slip..Can this be right click on the pic and sayve to your computer then blow it up...

You should raise the boost in the 335i eventually and get your 335i record back also.

This sounds like a fun event. I turned in my 335i tonight. Maybe I will start testing on the coupe to see how it runs.

When are they going to fix that thing.?I remember that from a previous visit. I think I have a picture of the board doing the same thing, and the guy told me what the actual mph was. Let me see if I can research my findings back then. Either way, remember it would take about a 60hp increase to gain about 6 mph in the 1/4 mile.

Didn't jrcart trap something like that on spray too? Regardless, that's fast It may be too late but usually the track has a recor dof all runs from the day, maybe you can get them to reprint a timeslip for you

I trapped at 127+ but on an 11.13 E/T, It would be nearly impossible for him to have trapped at 127.4 on an 11.86 pass unless he was running a progressive NOS set-up putting LOTS of funny gas through the motor on the back half....every one knows those signs are always wrong anyhow.

No, don't put me on the list yet. I am not sure if I'm going to make it I have an "event" the evening before which is the main reason I am going to be in town, knowing me It's going to be an all-nighter. Besides that I have the logistical issues with my tires and race fuel to deal with. I'm already shipping the car to Vegas with a tank of race fuel as well as a trunk filled with three 5 gallon containers of VP MS 103 so I can make the drive to LA, once I get to LA I need 99 or 100 octane, plus I will need 120 for my NOS ECU. My car can not run on anything below 99, Andy gave me a very aggresive tune. So bottom line, if I can't get fuel I am not racing, and I know for a fact the fuel you guys get in Cali sucks. If there is a speed shop or something in the area or a VP distributor that I can get to please let me know.

fuel is not an issue, so I would take that out of your concerns. We just set up with VP as one of there stocking dealers for San Diego

Jim, you can't miss this event, it needs you. Rick posted that he could trailer your tires with his stuff. Regarding the fuel, I thought the highest octane VP Fuels offers was 109? How do you get 120? LA has a couple of VP distributors. Plus, James offered to take care of the fuel issue anyways. Problem solved. Lets do this

Fuel is still an issue, I will not have my hauler out in California, I will be driving my car everywhere, if I get low on fuel I can't just pull into the Shell station and fill up with premium 92 or whatever garbage they sell in Cali. I need to have enough fuel to get to and from my hotel and track. Will you be able to bring me several 5 gallon containers to the track, because SD is a long drive from LA? Please PM me you VP price list for the MS 103 and Q 16. If I get the fuel figured out I still have the tire issue, I will need someone to haul my Street E/T's from my hotel to the track. I guess if if I have to I can rent a pick-up from enterprise and have my buddy follow me (he'll love that idea).

VP offers leaded 120, it's called Q16. Small amounts of leaded will not hurt anything, remember I have no cats. I will only be putting about 4 gallons of the leaded stuff in the car while making NOS passes and then switch back over to the unleaded 100 or 103.

However I've heard that at the beginning of the new year prices will drop.

My car is a custom engine for RENNTech so I'm not sure you can call it a stage 5? That sounds like a good numbers though.

I am going just to see if Mike has the fastest 55 on the West Coast.
He is an awesome driver so we will see. I know my car can beat his but he can outdrive me anyday. Can't wait to pick up some tips from you Mikey.

+1 on Mikey's driving. Him and Shawn are the most consistent 60' drivers I've ever seen. I put Shawn in my 63 (which is completely different to launch than his 55), and he got the best time any one has got in my car. Then we put him in a modded C5 Z06 (very hard to transfer the power to the ground) and he still got better times than the owner of the car, then we put him in a modded honda s2000 and he also got the best times in it. Not to mention his consistent 1.6/1.7 60' in his car. It's almost like there's nothing he can't drive Mike's times are just like that. It'd be fun to watch chiromikey and shawn run side by side although Shawn's car is only stage 3 and he runs on BFG drag radials.

Mikey is going to this? I would love to see hs car run. Is Jim aka Jakpro1 going too? If so, I will start looking for plane tickets just to go watch
