I picked these up in Tokyo.
As you can see the parts are black. They fit into the E63 bumper very well. It comes with mesh.
I chose to have the parts painted black but my buddy who did the install decided to go with body color and I am glad he decided that.
The lights are wired to turn on as soon as the car is started. So basically they are on all the time. They dim slightly when the headlights turn on.
Very good quality kit from WALD. I am glad I waited to get the E63 bumper after the WALD kit came out.

I wish I could enjoy the car more, but living overseas doesn't help. And there is no way I will ever bring this car to China. The drivers there are CRAAAAZY!
Although your car doesn't look like its aging.

Do you mind sharing the part # for the Birdseye wood shifter surround? I ordered it twice from my local dealer and it came wrong both times, they sent the one for the 05-09 models with the sliding console. I have the folding console like yours and have distronic as well and I am tired of staring at the silver piece myself.

I'll have to see if I can find a part number for the shifter surround. I'm not sure if I have it though since I bought i from MBenzNL and he knew exactly the part to get.
