Custom Supercharger pulley?
I'm going to be slapping on an E55 supercharger on My C55 (yeah I'm nutts). In order for me to keep this thing safe I'm going to need a Larger(???) SC pulley. Do any of you guys know of a place that can or does make custom SC pulleys for this Supercharger?

To complex to build one off for the supercharger (has a clutch) leave that one stock and use a stock or smaller 55K crank pulley. You may need a 55K ECU to control the SC clutch, bypass valve, MAP sensor, IAT sensor ect. If you use the OEM ECU you may need a BOV to keep boost in check, that NA 55 has high compression be careful

I think the pulley is the least of your problems with that kind of upgrade. Not worth doing a N/A to forced. Everything is wrong spec wise.
Make a bid for the wrecked E55K on Ebay and get all the goodies for cheap then sell the NA donk with the stock tranz & diff to recoup some bux.
Then do all the usual 55 mods = One quick C off its head.

You'll actually need a smaller (not larger) SC pulley.
If you manage to remove the AMG SC pulley, you'll then have to fabricate a 2.80" SC pulley in order to run a safe amount of boost into your N/A 55 motor.
There are many other hurdles, but IMO this is the biggest and most challenging.

Saying this very lightly
You are about to get a first hand lesson in why Mercedes ECU's are from Satan himself.
This car is gonna throw more check engine lights than the National Christmas Tree.
Gonna be a nightmare dude. We'll be prayin for ya.
Cars are nicely over engineered and disgustingly frustrating to mod without the ECU freaking every step of the way.

Are you talking about the turbo or the SC? Word I got today is renntech is working on something custom for me for the Supercharger. Although its kinda like I'm not in the loop though. IDK?

dead on I need to reduce boost. You my friend have a fast fast car. So Im guessing i need to do the opposite of what you have. Less boost. 11.1 CR needs less boost. MY car will be at Dyno-Comp soon enough so you should stop in there and check out the project.

Since he's considering removing the SC pulley, I assumed the clutch was coming off with it.
Let me refraise:
If your able to remove both the clutch & pulley and run the blower directly off the drive belt: go with a smaller SC pulley to reduce boost.
If you plan on keeping the clutch design: you'll need an AMG crank pulley and larger SC pulley in order to reduce boost.
Try contacting Bob at:

He might be able to assist.
