'06 E55, '05 SLK55, a few others
Never had them on my '06 since it never even sees rain, but on my blown W210 E55 the Michelin Pilot Sport AS was amazing for an all season tire. Very close to a dedicated high performance tire. I also thought the Goodyear F1's worked well but some people complained that they get noisy as they wear and I didn't have them long enough to agree or disagree with that.

I currently have Bridgstone RE960. They are very iffy in even light snow. Between say, zero degrees and 30 above, the throttle has to be applied gingerly or they spin. Even in warmer temps, they can't handle the power of the E55. You will find yourself in C mode all time to get the 2nd gear starts. Conclusion, The "all season" concept does not work well in the case of the E55. Get the grippiest high performance tires available for warm weather and a 2nd set of high performance snow tires if you must drive in wintry conditions.

+1. If you can find a place to store the off-season wheels and tires having dedicated winter and summer tires is by far the best setup.

I'm with these guys. All-season tires are a compromise that don't work too well for either performance or winter driving scenarios. Swapping out wheels/tires twice a year is not that big a hassle to maintain performance and driveability year round.
No all-season tire is going to make the E55 a safe driver in winter snow/ice conditions.
