okay, let me explain it, I know English is not my first language, so I apologize for the grammar, etc.

The factory/stock socket has i i configuration (i for the pins). The 2 black and red wires has I I configuration. It is bigger, so it wont fit the factory socket.

Then you said to plug the factory socket directly to the ballast first. But the ballast's sockets are like I I compared to the factory ones i i

There you go, the way caveman explains things.

EDIT: the error canceler and ballast have the same size of socket. The size, but the spacing is still different.

Yeah, I get what you're saying. I think you'll need to cut and splice some wires somewhere if you can't get it to fit.

i tried to install these things again and they are not plug and play on the h7 kit like promised by James.

1000 has found the extra piece to make this install easier, if you have a h7 bulb, most likely you will need this piece-

James also gave me a set of ghost amber bulbs with the purchase that don't fit either-

bet the amber bulbs don't fit because one of the little metal bumps on the base is off.

What kind of your vehicle do you try to install the fog on ? I did the HID fog lights kit on my E55 without cutting just plug and play . I bought them from James too.

E55 uses a 9006 bulb and the install is super easy. Some of the H7 installs are definitely more challening.

Did either of you take pics of the install process?

When I get mine I'll do it to contribute to the community, but I'm hoping someone does it before hand with all of these questions being asked and my propensity to try putting an HID in to the supercharger or something retarded.

Why aren't you guys questioning why James isn't here trying to help you guys out?
Did he pull his infamous disappearing act... AGAIN?
You know the old "I had a personal matter..." or "I was out of town on..." or his favorite "my (family member) was sick and I needed to attend to them"

I bet he'll show up any minute now to tell you guys how wrong I am.
He loves posting rebuttals on public forums when his customer service is questioned, yet remain impossible to find when you call him to resolve your concern.

This guy's a clown and should have his sponsorship revoked.

If you have a floor jack, you can use the center point just after the motor. You will see a sqare jack point for the floor jack.

I Like Soup,

I should be getting in a E55 tomorrow, I will post a DIY for you guys.

drop997stop,

I left you a message yesterday, give me a call if you have not figured out how to do the install. Also as for your ghost amber bulbs, please let me know which ones you recieved, as this is the first that I've heard of us sending you the wrong bulbs.

James
