drop997stop,

I left you a message yesterday, give me a call if you have not figured out how to do the install. Also as for your ghost amber bulbs, please let me know which ones you recieved, as this is the first that I've heard of us sending you the wrong bulbs.

James

Excellent! While I've read the entire thread, it seems some folks are still having some issues and have questions so I figure a picture is worth a thousand words...sorry about the cliche.

Just like I told you way back in post #4 of this thread. And then a second time in post #20 after it was clear to me you were on the wrong track. I now understand why you are having soo much trouble. Slow down, take the time to learn from others.

How many AMG owners dose it take to change a light bulb?

Talk about cliché.

Stop! That igniter can hit you with 25,000 volts, you should never handle one that is electrified. You should install the kit completely before powering it up. The igniter may be damaged from reverse polarity call James for a warranty replacement.

That is not right... do you have the error canceler connected on that side? If so, try switching the ballast from the left to the right and see if the problem follows. If so, sounds like possibly a bad ballast, let me know either way and i'll get you a ballast if needed.

I think that follows more along the lines of "a priest, a rabbi, and an AMG owner walks in to a bar..."

I did,,, the right side works on both sides but the one I started onthe left works on neither unless I give it a tap or two. So that is how I eliminated the bulbs.

since your problem did not follow when you changed the ballast over, try one more thing and move the bulb over... you either might have received a defective bulb or damaged it during the installation. If the problem still doesn't follow, check your electrical connects as you may not be getting a good connection.

when you take the bulb out, look at the rod on the bottom of the bulb right underneath the glass portion of the bulb. Is it cracked?

not yet

I have my kit sitting at home, the kit is NOT plug and play on a e63. There is a seperate adapter taht you need to lock the bulb in place thats not included

I spoke to James and he said he would get me one last week but havent heard from him.

I am wondering if these will even work a 63 due to the fog lights turning on and off everytime we turn. It will probably burn ou the bulb pretty quickly
