Recommended dealership/shope for service in NOVA area

Hi all,

I'm in the northern va area and was wondering which dealership/shop is recommended for service? I have had horrible experiences with Mercedes of Alexandria (I actually want to submit a complaint to Mercedes but have no idea where to start). Anyhow- this may be the wrong forum for it but it's worth a shot.

Er- i misspelled shop..

Might be a bit far for you, but I have had great service so far. Set up an appointment on a Saturday, get a loaner and tour a few vineyards.

As far as service goes, I do like having mine serivced at ASC in Arlington. I HATE the Alexandria one. Just dont leave your car with them, in arlington, overnight.
I brought mine in from a fender bender in December and 2 days later while at the ASC body shop(across the street from dealer) all 4 of my rims and tires were stolen off the car!
For service, in the morning out the end of the day I would recommend them. Any overnight stays...go someplace else. They seem to have a theft problem. 5 weeks later I am still waiting to get my ride back. Fortunatly I think my wait is about at its end since all they are waiting for is my custom wheels i had M-concept make for me.
Good Luck with your choice!

No...ASC's trouble is not limited to the body shop. Last spring the AMG 63 vanity late that was on the front of my car was stolen from the main part of the dealership.

I am bringin my new wheels today to the body shop and am insisting they give me my car before the end of the business day as I refuse for it to sit there overnight and have my new wheels stolen before I even get the car home!

I have an aftermarket warranty and was convinced by this board to try the indy shops rather than the dealers. I used to use Sterling Star Automotive, but had a bad customer service experience/shoddy repair issue there so I've ditched them. I'm actually suing them now for it.

I've heard a few folks on this board use Curry's Automotive in Dulles, VA with good results. I also found the following place in NOVA...www.germancarservice.net. Seeing a lot of good reviews out there.

I've had mixed results with MB of Tysons Corner. Sometimes good, sometimes downright horrible. My big thing is good customer service as well as having my car fixed properly. I just can't seem to get that out of the management there.

Lately, it appears to me that customer service is dead in most places. Business just don't give a crap anymore.
