Neither, you shouldn't be street racing.

Nittos will hook... After a 30 second burnout.. The Mickey's and the BFG's only need like a 10 second burnout if that to get all nice and sticky..

Believe it or not alot of autoxers and road racers prefer the Nitto DR's for their compound in their type of racing.. Thats how hard the compound is compared to the MT's and the BFG's

Ha! Beat me to it!

For street racing, you should use some 400 tread wear rated M&S. The cops usually go after the winner.

I am probably just going to pick up some Invo's for my car for now, and then go with the MT drag radials for the track once I track down another pair of stock rear wheels. I agree the Nitto DR's are no better than a decent street tire for traction, the compound is too hard, but you will get some decent mileage out of them..15-20k which, compared to a MT, Hoosier, or even BFG DR is just multiple times more tread life.
