MICKEY THOMPSON DR VS NITTOS DR...WHICH IS BETTER FOR STREET RACING

I am about to buy a set of Mickey Thompson drag radial,but is not able to get any,they said that they are on national back order....what do you think about the Nittos drag radial are they any good in the street?

Mickey's hook the best second best is BFG's the nitto's don't hook very well...

Nittos will hook... After a 30 second burnout.. The Mickey's and the BFG's only need like a 10 second burnout if that to get all nice and sticky..

Believe it or not alot of autoxers and road racers prefer the Nitto DR's for their compound in their type of racing.. Thats how hard the compound is compared to the MT's and the BFG's

I am probably just going to pick up some Invo's for my car for now, and then go with the MT drag radials for the track once I track down another pair of stock rear wheels. I agree the Nitto DR's are no better than a decent street tire for traction, the compound is too hard, but you will get some decent mileage out of them..15-20k which, compared to a MT, Hoosier, or even BFG DR is just multiple times more tread life.
