If you could (hypothetically) fit 1.5" pipes equal length, or 1.875" pipes unequal, which approach would net the better performance returns?

Agree w/ others; the dyno results will be interesting to see.
Where did you get the info on the tube diameter, I did not see those specs in this thread. They appear no larger than my 63 longtubes which are equal length. I know you stated "hypothetically", but they appear to the eye similar to mine. Not attacking you, just curios about specs,

Equal length primaries are not better than unequal length until after 700hp (even then it's an "maybe") with regard to a V8. More important than equal length is primiary diameter. I'd like to know what the dia is of the other LTs on the market, because I doubt they're 1 7/8"--likely 1 3/4".

As for the collector "neckdown" that's something you see with ALL high velocity merge collectors (again it's all about the collectors, that's where the power is made). It's not as large of a neckdown in person as the pics make it out to be.

.
The ideal length has to do with cam specs. Having them all the same ideal length makes sense.

After listening to all of the BS hot air from Andy and later testimonies from Jackpro can't say I would trust a thing from you guys!
