Transmisson dipstick dimensions
Ok I may sound cheap, but I don't feel like spending 50 on a transmission dipstick tool.
I plan on using cable wire from bicycle brakes.
Can anyone provide me with measurments.
This may help a lot of other people too.

this doesn't answer your question but you don't really need the proper length if you're just using it to check to see if there's coolant in the tranny fluid (per your other thread)...

Yeah that is what I plan to use it for, but I could not hurt if I get the dimensions so I can check the fluid level also. Would you know where the filler hole is. I have heard it is right by the auxillary battery
