Do we need to split E55 and E63 AMG forums?

I think the powerplants justify a separate forum. If we want to know about headers for the 55, odds are that the thread will eventually get hijacked by info on some new 63 headers. The info may be very useful to those interested in 63 headers, but the OP may not get the answers he/she was looking for. It works the other way around obviously.
Tuning is another perfect example. I have a hard time believing that I can start a thread asking about tuning for the 55 motors without it wind up turning into a pissing contest on tuning for 63's (even though some of these tuners have not done anything on the 55).
But do we NEED different forums? Not sure.
But that's the type of response you were hoping to elicit by posting a snarky comment about 55s.
Actually, you've really helped make the case for splitting the 63s apart from the 55s. As a 55 owner, I want to come to this forum to read about 55 related info, not 63 related info. E63 headers? Not interested. E63 tuning? Not interested. Lousy 63 vendors? Not interested.
I have little doubt that 63 owners would most likely would prefer to read primarily about 63 related items. Then, when either group becomes curious about what's going on with the other group, it's really easy to click on the link to the other forum.

Oh the 55/63 battle will probably gone on forever. lol It's actually fun. Keeps everyone on their toes. Seriously though, as far as splitting the forums, us 63 guys would be screwed. Whenever I search for anything on this forum about my car I always put in 55. Simply because there are a ton more posts and people with 55's. It would be boring to have just a 63 forum for us. It would basically kill the 63.

The W211 AMG forum has become the default home for most engine tuning questions and comments. As a result there are a lot of R230, W209, and other MB owners asking questions and making comments here, including me.
Are you W211 guys okay with that? Or should there be a separate forum for AMG engine tuning?
Once the 5.5 TT E comes out, we can all unite in our hatred and jealousy of them.

In fact, it might even get worse.
As I said before, if I want to find out about 55 tunes, it is of little use to me that someone with an E63 is happy with XYZ Tuning Co. I am happy that they are satisfied, but that says little to me about XYZ's 55 tuning capability.
When the 2011 AMG (no 2010 E class AMG) come out I think a split will become necessary along engine model or chassis model lines 63/63 or 211/212.
Who knows more about the new 212 AMG?
