@ the ricker All the engines you posted are made by VRP. Renntech do not offer any intercooler or Scorpion intake for 600/65 engines. Renntech upgrades for biturbo engines are : ECU , TCU, Carbon airbox & intercooler pump.
VRP intercooler package is a much more Sophisticated upgrade.

Under the hood looks like the Predator Alien when he was pissed.......
You know only a trained Benz tech with years of experience will only be able to determine
that the car had any modifications when they lift the bonnet...LOL
Or if you know one make sure he is a recreational drug user.... The night before you bring the car in for warranty work get this guy so ****ed up ... He wouldn't know a 65 from a Civic... This way atleast you have that chance of him not realizing your car is not anything near stock..... LOL
Incredible setup. If someone doesn't care about the warranty then this is the best way to go
When VRP adds a couple of bigger snails with this kit .... We will see a 9 second 65...... Yeah!!!!!!!!

V12-Biturbo
Perfect side pic, I can clearly see the mounting point
@The ricker
The three airboxes are all VRP. Those are different prototype built before the finish product shown in this thread.
The airboxes are connected to the turbochargers who aspire the air . The compressed air flows through the coolers to get cooled and then in the engine itself.
On this pic you can see clearly the airboxes connected to the turbos

Its Oscoda Wurtsmith Airport.. I will post more details on the event and the cars that will be there.. It will be alot of fun!! ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
Those were the first prototype coolers that Vadim worked on with a local fabricator in LA. Then, shortly after the fabricator closed up shop on us so we had to go look elsewhere.
The second set (the ones that were first shown on Marko's car) were the second set of prototypes that were created by a new fabricator that we used. We tested and refined those and finally came up with a VRP production version that we are very happy with!
The last set of pictures I posted are the final production versions of the VRP official Intercooler upgrade kit for the 600/65 cars. I will post dyno info shortly..![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
The other end of the intake tubes connect to the inlet side of the turbos. 2 filters on each side merge into a Y-pipe and then down to the turbo.
Correct! ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

I would imagine the VRP basic box-style must have more total coolant capacity?
Also are those Scorpion Intakes, VRP? or RENNtech? they look identical
& Where do the bottom of the Scorpion CAI connect to? in your close-up picture it is hard to tell or see any mounting point? (I've never completely taken off my stock air-boxes & looked under them..

Marko's car hit the dyno over the weekend to test out the production intercoolers... Very good news!!
Car put down 700rwhp and 844rwtq!!!!!. The run started just after 3,500RPM because the car kept downshifting so we know the power level would of been higher had we been able to get a 2,000RPM and up run (this is why torque is only 844rwtq vs 912rwtq from last time).
The A/F on the dyno went lean.. We know these coolers are VERY efficient. We are adding a bunch more fuel to the tune and dialing it in. I suspect final power should be in the 725rwhp - 735rwhp range on the 100octane map.
The 93octane map will be pretty much the same except for -2 deg or so of timing.
There will be a bunch of kits installed in the next few weeks. They will be going on a wide range of cars so we will get a good sampling from that.
Here is a link to the latest dyno video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNvzz0Oy2tM

Intercooler kit, which includes intercoolers, air intake, ECU tune, coolant pump and coolant/expansion tank for intercoolers.
Marko's CL has also cat delete, X-pipe and 4gal coolant tank in tunk instead of expansion tank under hood.

Here's a question. With tq at those levels the tranny won't last long, along with who knows what else and good luck getting traction. Is there a way to limit tq to 'safer' levels? I know they did the same thing for the SL65 Black to keep it manageable.

Ok so what is the real HP on pump 93 oct gas?, If we are getting into this we must have the facts as they are, I am at 695 crank with all the RENNTECH upgrades:
Where is this going to take me if I do it?
RENNTECH PKG
3
ECU, TCU, cf airbox, sport mufflers, and intercooler pump upgrade
695 HP @ 5500 RPM; 890 LB-FT @ 2000-3000 RPMWhere is this going to take me if I do it?
