Who has the fastest E55?
Who has the fastest E55 on this board. I am geting ready to sell the beast very soon, while getting together all of my literature, I came across what I think is my best. 13.373 @ 106.53 I am going to try to add a pic of the time slip, I'm not sure how successful I will be. Post your best times.

Who has the fastest E55
I think I have the fastest unless you are asking about stock. Pocholin seems to have the quickest stock E55 (13.209 ET) that I have seen. My E55 before mods ran 13.467 ET with 2000 miles on the odometer. Since my RENNtech mods my best run to date has been 12.105 ET @ 118.32 MPH. Also have managed to get a 60 ft. time of 1.896 sec. on my street tires. Check Pocholin's posts for a view of his time slips.

Who has the fastest.....
Thanks Kev, you saved me a lot of typing. Hey autostream, what's up with the banner? Are you asking me what I am worth or are you asking everybody in general?

Jimbo does have the fastest E55 to date. With info available. However he was beat by a street driven Eclipse last saturday.
And I will give him a run for money soon!!! Using his tires that he has in holding. If not I still can red lite.:p

So far to my knowledge I have the fastest Stock E55 with 13.29 @ 105 mph
and James Cannon has the fastest modified E55 with 12.15 @ 118 mph
I couldn't find the timeslip to prove the 13.29, but here it is one with 13.300

Hey autostream, what's up with the banner? Are you asking me what I am worth or are you asking everybody in general?
I run a streetracing team here on Long Island,, NY. yea, the kind where you do mile runs to 150mph+ on the street and run from the cops so spare me all the fast and furious comments please. I have an 11 second porsche turbo and a 12 second ferrari spider.
But now I am about to pick up an E55 to mix things up and throw people off, and so I can bring at least 3 easy drunk girls along for the ride.
My plans are to get it into the high 11's so I was looking for mods tha actually work.
I am really interested in what happens when you remove the resonators and/or all the cats?
ps. A stock anything means stock air filter and stock tires. You can adjust the tire pressure, but you cannot add or remove any parts...those are the rules, just ask Vin Diesel
I hope this is allowed. if you like hardcore streetracing, check out the videos and no flaming please you asked for it!

0-60 mph times?
I just did a couple of runs last night, and improved my all time best 0-60 time to 4.92 secs (car is 100% stock, measured w/ Gtech/pro). I really think I could get into the high 4.8's with the perfect launch, I still get too much wheel spin with most launches.
I've not done 1/4 mi times, but guess I should be able to do something in the mid 13's, maybe 13.3-13.4 with a really good launch and the right conditions.
I know it's not the fastest, but I'm very pleased with my car's performance.

Hey Pocholin, yes you should get yourself a Gtech, lot's of fun w/o needing to go to the track. I just measure the 0-60 times to gage how all my cars do relative to what the magazines get.

Who has the fastest E55?
Hey, Pocholin, I'll loan you mine as soon as my401 is through with his mods on his C32. Personally, I don,t put too much stock in it's results due to the difficulty of getting it level and finding a level place to start. E-mail me when you get a chance with your address and phone number (I lost it when my computer crashed). By the way, the NPR strip is having a street car shootout on Feb. 9th, 10 bucks to get in and run. Supposed to have trophies for fastest import, Chevy, Ford, Mopar, etc. Classes include pure street (DOT tires, insp. stickers, no trailered cars for this class. Should be fun. Do you still have my phone number?
ON the subject at hand, my car must be IT!!!! Haven't seen any challenge yet.

Kleemann has the fastest E55!
James Cannon may have the fastest E55 on this board, but the world record belongs to Kleemann's W210 E55K at 338km/h.

Who has the fastest E55?
mikE55, is this Kleemann driven on the street everyday as is Cannon's? Cannon says if Kleemann owner would like to run heads up acceleration test, it would be interesting and from 0-150 would go to the Cannonball E55. Cannon's car is govened at 187MPH but with the standard differential ratio (2.82 to 1) and a horsepower curve to 6500RPM, disabling the governor would get him to around 200MPH. Now with corporate sponsors and a 2.65 ratio, who knows? Also spoke to some people in the know (Germans) and they question how long this Kleemann would last driven hard and often. But for the time being your point is valid. James Cannon's E55 is not the fastest, but definitely the quickest yet in the quarter mile!

The WR KLEEMANN E 55, is driven as a everyday car by it's owner
race driver Jason Watt.
The car is as relaible as any other KLEEMANN, it's driven hard every day.
By changing the rear axle from 2.82 to 2,65 : 1, will not change the to speed much, it's like hitting a wall at 300 km/h and I am not talking what the speedo shows, it's real speed.
We calculated from our onboard computer, that 360 HP was needed just to maintain the speed at WR 338 km/h, then a lot of power is needed to accelerate the car up there.
A 2.42 rear axle was used at the WR car, which makes the car feel all most slow. it's only good / fun for speed.

Who has the fastest E55?
Just 360 HP to maintain the speed at 338 KPH, my car has dynoed at 440.7 HP at the rear wheels and that was on a 92 degree F. day. So if I just go to 2.65 ratio I feel sure I ccould top that speed. But for now I'm comfortable knowing that my E55 is the quickest ( 12.105 ET @ 118.32 MPH) and am waiting for a Kleemann or HPS owner to challenge that on street tires. By the way, I just received another flyer from HPS. I'd even settle for a CLK55 supercharged to challenge my E. Having fun, be happy.
