not really sure, he said retail is 1100, got for $928. i also needed to buy another 3 piece thing like the silver lining? im not really sure what its called. so that was like a hundred bux. he said hes not sure whether or not ill need anything else until they switch the bumpers like little mounts or whatnot. he said maybe the full e63 kit will be around $4000 but he needs to check but who knows. so far only ordered the bumper!

.............. next up should be the carbon fiber rear diffuser. Remember, this will be a limited piece for some time, so it'll make the car even more exclusive

just wondering, will the rear diffuser for E55 from euroteck fit the E63 bumpers? also, any pictures of a CF rear diffuser on a black W211 out there? was wondering what itd look like or close.

Counting you in, we would need 2 more payments..... Matt (number 9 on the list) has not been contacted yet, but all indications we've been given so far seem to say that he's interested. If we don't count you in, then we need 3 more (2 if we include Matt).

So far, it looks like we need 3 more payments.....
Ced dropped out due to domestic decisions
mpserv also dropped out, but to be honest, he was never in 100%, he always stated that he's a maybe. He is looking for something that is more customized to his specs.
Matt apparently is still undecided
So, basically we need 3 more orders to start this project.

We didn't really set a time because we thought we had all 10 commitments secured, but when it came time to pay, things turned out differently.
Do you guys want to give it to the end of this month maybe? If we can't get 3 more guys to commit, we can always just cancel the project...... although I'd hate to see this happen after coming so close
If tchu decides to join us, then we'll only be short 2 orders = $1800. If we divide that number equally by 8, it comes out to $225 extra per order. If everybody is okay with paying the extra $225 to get this project started, then we'll start right away. We each get a diffuser. And then we'll have 2 extra ones. Once people see them on cars and see how good they look, I'm confident that they'll want to buy one. But since the diffuser will be a limited production piece for 2 years, they'll be left with either buying one from us or waiting 2 years to get one. After selling the two that we have, we'll return the extra $225 that everyone paid.
I'm just throwing ideas out there, what do you guys think?

guys, sorry for a little off-topic, but how come you you pay $900 for a diffuser for e63 and euroteck web-site E55 Carbon Fiber Diffuser cost $510 shipped. do you get more Carbon Fiber ?

The E55 market is much larger considering the car has been out for 7 to 8 years. The E63 has only been out for 2 years, so there is a lot fewer of them running around, which means much less demand for a diffuser. Almost no company wants to touch the project given the low demand. For example, they were able to pre-sell 17+ E55 diffusers first time around, and will probably sell another 10 to 15 on the second round. Similarly, if we (the E63 crowd) can get 20 people to order the diffuser, our price would easily be $499, but in reality we're having trouble keeping 5 orders

Some good news: I just got a couple of private messages from 2 other forums of two people interested in the diffuser. I directed them to this thread. Lets see if they will confirm with payment or not
