Hey Guys,
So I bought a flat bottom steering wheel and I want to take my current one off. Does anyone know the steps to get this done?
Thanks,

Then to take the wheel off all you'll need is a large hex socket and a breaker-bar, or an impact wrench of you have one.

I paid $850 for the wheel shipped. You can get the credit for the wheel and the grand total will be $700. Not too bad for a quality piece.

Taking off the airbag is easy... I had to take it to the shop to get off the main bolt in the middle. The tech said he had to use his 1/2" air wrench and really hammer the bolt to get it off. Theres no way mine was coming off at home.

Actually for E55 wheels they give you $150.00. I have a dark burlwood MP Design wheel on my car. I want to sell it myself, I think it has more value than $150.00.

Baris, that steering wheel looks great!! If you are in the area stop by the shop so I can have a look at it (I have been thinking about doing the E63 steering wheel w/ paddle shifters but this one looks great as well).

There's a DIY in that thread for how to adapt the E63 paddles to work with the E55.
