It is absurd how difficult this is.
So now that the money is paid, you need to make an appointment to "Pick up".
So Mercedes (Mbfinancial) must send the clearance to Riverside. Once Riverside has the release you schedule an appointment. Since there are so many repo's , appointments are difficult to set.
i called yesterday to set up an appointment for this AM, no call back, no response from either Riverside or Mbfinancial. Now I have to go to work. So I cannot pick it up today, I am avail tomorrow but w/o an appointment for SAT , I cannot just show up.
The good news is the auction has not taken place due to the payments. So its a matter of organizing PICK UP.
The car is 70 miles away , and this is always a congested route. The hurdles are tall, and hopefully I can get THROUGH to them today, so I can retrieve tomorrow.

The hardest part is over, now its just dealing with coordination of rescue. Im never going to forget the things I have learned not only here but from the members of LP.
I learned from all of you whether negative or positive. I hope everyone will be more honest with what is going on in thier "real life" whether it is positive or negative. Speaking openly and honestly about finances can help alleviate some of the 800 lb Primate on your back. This was not really about the money, it was about the reaction and what transpired here, and on LP is proof enough of the quality of human's that occupy those portions of cyberspace.
Interestingthat posters here that normally "dislike" or do not agree came together to face a common enemy, Twilight Zone type stuff..

Im quite certain my front rims or at the very least drivers side rim is trashed, as well as the front spoiler. The Tow truck dragged the car down a very steep driveway from the rear. There is maybe 2" of space from a huge red curb.
So far Riverside has failed to even locate my ride, my point of contact at mbfinancial seems to vanish often.
Im sure the damage will be significant,
The irony is the finance co repo's the car to protect, remarket the asset, yet they mangle the vehicle during the process.

Man, this thread has a ton of topics in it. But one thread alone makes me feel good. Juicee is working! I'm thrilled that such a cool guy was able to survive such a hardship.
