08 SL55, 07 E63, 07 S550

Bye bye resonator!

Just got it taken off today at Joe's Muffler in Addison, Texas. Damn!!!! It sounds so good. It's not too loud on idle but step on the gas and it rumbles. Its basically no more resonator and he replaced with 3" ss pipes.

Thanks to Adam at Autoscope and Fr33kn63 for the help. I try and get sound clip tomorrow if the weather cooperates.

it sure is louder... perhaps a little too loud (for my taste) but good nonetheless... can you hear any excess rumble inside, or is it all ok?

You could definitely hear it from inside. It's not too loud though. I like it the way it is for now. Haha. Not quite as loud as Fr33kn63's car though.

i have some vids here with resonator removed and replaced with straight pipes. so that can help give u an idea on how it would sound on a 55.
at the time when the vids were taken the car had kleeman pulley and ecu, renntech shorty headers and resonator delete.
