Question SC Clutch causing "jolting" when engaging?

I’ve been experiencing “jolts” on my car when the SC kicks in (similar to someone unfamiliar with driving a stick). It happens at lower RPMS around 2000-rpm usually while I'm cruising 20 mph and apply good throttle. It’s more pronounced now after the pulley/tune, which is obvious because there is more power.

Do you think this is a sign of the SC Electro clutch wearing out?

Mine was replaced under warranty, but my jolts were 30mph or slower and letting up on the throttle. Never upon stepping on it.

Nah, just the sign of a health beast.

Supercharger engage just one of the reasons they went to N/A. Drove a lot of people crazy. My dealer told one pretty old dude bought one brand new and literally returned it in 48 hours......just hated it.

Chirp was the biggest compaint we used to have and newer clutch fixed it.

Jolt is just the motor literally going from around 300 or less to 500hp in milliseconds. Tuned car is now 300hp or less to upper 5's to low 600s. Imagine mine....700!! It's pretty violent and I LOVE IT!!!

So, if you are accelerating hard and you don't ease off the gas and you get that jerk...it is indeed because of the extra horses after mods? I was pretty much thinking so, but I've noticed more bucking than usual at lower speeds.

This happened to me a couple days ago, I was gonna post this question also.

I was at a stop sign and I was easing onto the gas, wasn't trying to go fast at all and all of a sudden it felt like a bucking bronco, if anyone is familiar with how the smg m3's feel sometimes.

I'm stock btw.

mine jolts really hard at 3500 rpm when I accelerate slowly. If I step on it hard, I don't notice it. I've had my clutch replaced with the newer sl clutch as well. I have the RENNTech pulley.

drive in C mode around town..

and S mode on the freeway.

also.. if you leave your suspension in comfort mode and you drive in S mode.. it will jolt less. Try it.

I think ZOD is correct. I read that other thread and its EXACTLY as I described. Furthermore, I DO have the "Load Limit Active" code when I pulled out my STAR computer.

I guess its a ECU software management issue.

I know how you feel. Suddenly, I felt so much better knowing that everyone else have problems too.
