I know...the reason for the RS6's expense was similar...they had to take the whole front clip off...nose...front mounted intercoolers...radiators etc. Draining and bleeding all those systems and then making sure there weren't any air pockets. You would think they would have thought the whole prcoess through a little more...

I think I would still take the Scud, it would rape that M6 around the track, plus it just screams sexy, and I LOVE the way they look. Video seems legit, they did say the black one was just finishing break-in, and it was slower than the red one, so that makes sense. Even the scud doesn't make as much torque as the M, and +1 on the aero, lots more drag on the Scud. Also gearing, the Scud will take it from 0 to maybe 140, but it's starting to hit a wall at about 175 or so, can't they only hit about 190 on stock gearing (redline)?

348 & 355 require engine out, no engine out on the 360, belts are accessible behind the seats. 430 has timing chain

i can't comment about m6 passing the scud, but I have pulled away from a stock m5 with my 430 spider. I can not imagine a stock m6 is that much quicker than a m5

This 6er has some go-fast bits on it, not sure how much hp it's supposed to be though.

a Kelleners M6 fully moded (headers, full exhaust, crank pulley, tune , and an intake) can probably make near 500rwhp.. My guess is hes spraying it.. Damn I love that car up top!

Nope...back then Audi had free maintenance over the warranty period. The belts were changed at around 35-40K miles so it was on their dime. I asked the Audi service advisors what it would have cost me for when the car was out of the maintenance period. I traded the RS6 before it came out of warranty so I never had to shell out anything.

Limb? Not even a nose bleed. 1st service and subsequent maintenance is limited to oil and fluids change. And if you don't want to spend $500-800 at the dealer get a wrench and drip pan and do it yourself.

The car does come with a warranty. This myth that ferraris just fall apart and every oil change is thousands and thousands of dollars is crazy. A modern day ferrari is built to be as reliable as any other car. Does it cost more to service than a honda? yeah. so does your benz/BMW.

I hadn't realized getting rid of the belts made them that much more efficient and saved you that much more money on service. Good news

LOL, let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
Ferrari maintenance is not for the faint-hearted, clutches with F1 trans have life spans 10K-20K area. That's a $5K-$6K expense.
Fluids need changing every 2 years and oil should be done yearly minimum and with your mileage anticipation. That's about a $450-600 cost/oil change. Full fluid change on a 430 is about $1600
I’m not even going to mention CCB.
